September Dinner Club @ bd's Mongolian Grill

The September dinner club will be held at bd’s Mongolian Grill in Royal Oak on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30pm. We have reserved a private room for up to 50 people. They have a wide selection of plant-based proteins, vegetables, and spices so that you can create your own healthy and flavorful meal. Come out and make some new friends and enjoy some great food! Vera Hampton LargeAttendees will learn how to prepare tasty and nutritious vegan dishes from VegMichigan instructors Vera and Jeff Hampton and will get to taste samples of the prepared food. Oktoberfest Celebration @ North Center Brewing Company

Please join us at the North Center Brewery anytime between 5pm and 9pm for a vegan Oktoberfest celebration! The Shimmy Shack food truck will be serving up their famous burgers, nachos, shakes, and other great food! Plus, the brewery has a great selection of vegan beers. Author of the Pleasure Trap, Dr. Doug Lisle will help you understand and deal with the social pressures  you face eating a plant-based diet. In his talk, Getting Along without Going Along, he will discuss how your diet impacts your relationships with others and will also give you advice on how to better respond to questions regarding eating a vegan diet.
