Please join VegMichigan for this fun and informative cooking class. Attendees will learn the nutritional aspects of a plant based diet and taste samples of the prepared food. Our presenters will discuss how easy it can be to transform a standard meal into a delicious plant-based (no meat or dairy) option.

All food demos vary monthly.

10/12, Saturday, 6 PM, VegMichigan Dinner at Southern Nosh, 29540 Northwestern Hwy. (north of 12 Mile Rd.), Southfield. This new restaurant serves plant based down home cooking.  We will be enjoying 3 course dinners which will include Louisana style gumbo, choice of entree (jerk grilled protein, roasted eggplant and red pepper sandwich, or vegetable quesadilla), choice of side dish, and a brownie for dessert.  Cost is $17 per person (tax, tip, and beverage included). Due to limited space, a maximum of 18 people can attend.  To reserve your spot, you MUST give an RSVP by October 10 by sending an email to karen@vegmichigan.org. EUCHRE TOURNAMENT!  Do you love to play euchre?  Come for an evening of cards, fun and snacks.  A VegMichigan member will be hosting a Euchre Tournament at his home in Dearborn on October 18th at 7:00 p.m.  There will be a $10.00 donation fee from everyone participating in the tournament.

 

Space is limited so reserve your seat as soon as possible if you would like to join in.   There will be a cash prize for first and second place winners.  Any remaining proceeds will go to VegMichigan to be used toward our outreach programs promoting a plant-based lifestyle.   

 

This is not a potluck but everyone is encouraged to bring vegan snacks/beverages to share.   To attend this event you MUST RSVP with Susan Kline at susan@vegmichigan.org
