Paul Krause & Susan Kline work as a duo in presenting information on the vegan lifestyle.
Paul Krause, President of VegMichigan, will talk about the advantages of a plant-based lifestyle as it relates to health, environment and the ethical consequences. He is also a pharmacist and owner of The Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy in Southfield. He has been a vegan for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge in the medical field as well as information regarding the vegan lifestyle.
Susan Kline will be featuring a cooking demonstration. Susan has a B.A. in Sociology; is a VegMichigan board member and cookbook author. She has been a vegan for 20 years and a cooking class instructor for 11 years. In her cookbook, From the Earth With Love, Susan set out to re-create traditional recipes, using vegan options. Her goal is to dispel the myth that vegan food is unappetizing and limited but rather delicious and abundant.
We invite you to come and enjoy this fun and informative class. You will sample food prepared in class and receive literature and recipes to take home.
VegMichigan will be tabling at the Green Fair in the Park in St. Clair Shores to educate attendees of the benefits of a plant-based diet as it relates to the environment, human health and animal welfare. This event is fun for the whole family featuring eco-friendly products, live music, food, children’s activities, etc.
VegMichigan Greater Lansing will be tabling at this one day conference poised to energize food system awareness and reform in Mid-Michigan communities.
