GARLIC - THE MIRACLE HEALER
By Elizabeth Neumaier

This versatile herb has bridged the gap between medicine and herbs since biblical times. It has a wide range of benefits for many illnesses because it protects against antioxidants and free radicals, thins the blood and dilates blood vessels, and boosts the immune system as it is a natural antibiotic. World-wide research supports these claims.

The most studied form of garlic is Kyolic, which is an aged form of maw garlic. The aging process enhances its therapeutic qualities that do not cure or kill toxins, but activates healthy cells to defend and protect the body. And folks, that’s exactly what we want our bodies to do - what they were c rated to do - defend themselves. Drugs only cover up or use a synthetic chemical to do the work for u s, with many side effects, of course. Studies have shown that garlic lowers bad cholesterol and blood pressure by reducing the stickiness of blood. Recently, and I should say finally, the National Cancer Institute has funded a 20.5million dollar study on the effects of medicinal plants, including garlic. At long last, the medical community is showing some sense!

So here are a couple of ways to get more garlic into your diet. It would be especially beneficial at this time of year as we battle the cold and flu season.

1. Kyolic garlic can be taken in tablet, capsule and oil extracts.

2. I’m always in favor of using things as close to nature as possible, so put a maw clove in your green drink, especially if people around you are sick. Prevention is the key.

3. Liquid aged garlic by Wakunaga is odorless and nearly tasteless. You can add it to salad dressing, mice, beans or your green drink.

4. If you like maw garlic and aren’t going to kiss anyone in a few hours, put it maw into salads sandwiches and the like. Make sure to mince it first, as enzymes that you wouldn’t get otherwise are released when it is crushed.

5. You can also crush the garlic and put it between two thick slices of apple an d have an apple-garlic sandwich. It doesn’t taste as bad as it sounds.

As always, boosting your own strength is the key to good health. Nature has give n us everything we need on this planet to do that. We are also born with bodies that can take came of themselves if we give them the might fuel and tools to fight invaders. Combine that with keeping stress to a minimum, and refusing to let negative emotions dominate our outlook on life, and we are capable of miracles. Throw in a little exercise and life will be wonderful indeed!
