VegFest Coming April 21 in Novi

Vegan tastefest & expo promotes a meatless, earth-friendly diet

This years VegFest is expected to be bigger and better than ever with an anticipated attendance of over 5,000.

Taking place Sunday, April 21 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, VegFest features tasty vegan food from dozens of area restaurants and samples from great local and national food brands, door prizes, food demos, children’s activities and talks on the health, environmental and ethical benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Enjoy informational exhibits and shopping for cruelty-free, eco-friendly products for home, yard and personal use.

Nationally acclaimed featured presenters include Carol Leifer, a trailblazing female in the world of stand-up comedy, and writer and producer for shows like Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show and Modern Family; John Salley, four-time NBA champion, wellness advocate, and former Piston; Dr. Neal Barnard M.D., president of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, author of dozens of scientific publication and 15 books; Scott Jurek, world-renowned marathon champion and former 24-hour American record holder; and Ruby Roth, author of the children’s book “We Don’t Eat Animals” and guest of CNN, FOX and NBC.

Admission at the door is $10, $7 pre-paid and free for children under 6 and for VegMichigan members who have renewed since last year’s VegFest. To purchase discounted tickets and memberships in advance, click here.
