DESCRIPTION:MONTHLY LUNCH CLUB\, RECIPE SWAP\, & PRODUCE SHOPPING AT ANN ARBOR FARMERS MARKET\nIn August we are mixing things up with a different kind of Meetup! We will meet at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market (at the picnic tables near Detroit St & N Fifth Ave) for lunch. Then we’re going to swap recipes and shop for ingredients at the market. Please join us to enjoy a delicious\, plant-based lunch\, discover new plant-based recipes\, and support local farmers all at once. Fun!!\n\n\nLunch\nThe market doesn’t have a confirmed schedule regarding prepared food options\, but here are some ideas for lunch that are close by: \n\nDetroit Street Filling Station carryout (always delish!)\nMiss Kim carryout: lots of plant-based options\nSparrow Market: grape leaves\, tabbouleh\, chia pudding\nPeople’s Food Coop: premade chickpea salad\, etc.\nPizzaPazza: inside Sparrow Market\, has vegan cheese (and gf crust)\nThere may be plant-based restaurants/food trucks at the market\n\nRecipe Swap\nPlease bring a favorite recipe that incorporates lots of fresh veggies that could be purchased at the market! No need to bring lots of copies–we can save paper by taking photos of each others recipes with our phones. \nShopping\nAnd then we shop! Market information\, including where to park\, how to pay for purchases\, (see FAQ section)\, and what produce will be in season can be found here. \nEveryone is welcome at VegMichigan Meetups\, but we do ask that you enjoy a vegan meal (and in this case purchase vegan items from market vendors) while attending our events.
