SUMMARY:HOLLY - JACQ N' DIANE'S JUICE BOX & OPTIONAL HIKE
DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate the beginning of summer at Jacq N’ Diane’s Juice Box. This cozy cafe is 100% vegan\, and offers healthy options from smoothies made of whole fruits and veggies\, to sandwiches and wraps\, rice bowls\, organic salads\, and more. \nLunch will finish around 2:30 and will be followed by an optional hike at Wildwood and Valley Lake Trail in Holly Recreation Center. The trail is about a 15 min drive from the restaurant. Everyone will be responsible for their own transportation from the restaurant to the trail. It is a 2.5-mile loop (we will be hike a portion of the loop for up to 1 hour)\, and described as an easy level walk that is good for beginners. If you are joining us for the hike\, please be sure to prepare accordingly (e.g.\, bring a filled reusable water bottle\, sunscreen\, good walking shoes\, trail mix/health bar/fruit\, sunglasses\, hat). Individuals joining us for the hike will be asked to sign a waiver at the restaurant. \nEveryone is welcome at VegMichigan Meetups\, but we do ask that you enjoy a vegan meal/vegan snacks while attending our events. Attendees are responsible for the purchase of their own meal. We hope you are able to join us! \nRSVP here to save your spot!
