[They] work closely with their vendors and local farmers to bring the best ingredients from [their] family to yours. [They] believe in doing their part to protect the environment\, strengthen their community\, and support their staff.” \nIn March they are offering the vegan special\, Cauliflower Pibil- braised and seared cauliflower in a traditional Oaxacan sour orange sauce served with raspberry avocado\, tomato relish and black beans for the whole month. \nThey will have a second vegan special\, Portobello mushroom tacos- portobello mushrooms roasted in garlic and olive oil topped with house made giardiniera on soft corn tortilla\, for our Meetup ONLY! \nAlso\, the refried beans and Spanish Rice at Tios are always vegan\, and many of their dishes can easily be made plant-based upon request. \nVegMichigan welcomes everyone to our programs\, but we do ask that you enjoy a vegan meal at the Meetup. \nWe need to give an accurate attendee count to the restaurant in advance\, so please be mindful when signing up\, and if you are no longer able to attend\, please change your RSVP status. \nRSVP here to attend. \nAbout VegMichigan\nVegMichigan is a nonprofit organization that promotes plant-based eating for health\, animals\, and the planet.
