VegMIchIgan Is a 501(c)(3) nonprofIt organIzatIon focused on promotIng the health, envIronmental, and ethIcal benefIts of a plant-based dIet. We work to educate the publIc by offerIng a wIde range of actIvItIes for learnIng and socIalIzIng.
Some of our hIghlIghts Include:
- Spring & Fall VegFest, the largest vegan events in Michigan
- Over 4,700 bags of free plant-based food given away as a part of our popular 30-Day Plant-Based Pledge program
- Free and low-cost plant-based education presentations and cooking demos
- Free and low-cost vegan food tastings at universities, offices, and places of worship
- Lectures, movies, tables, and library displays
- Our monthly dinner clubs to socialize and build community
