POLICY TALK PART 2: ANIMAL WELFARE AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE

We are partnering with For Our Future Michigan and Michiganders for a Just Farming System to offer this two-part virtual series on the Farm Bill. Part 2 will include a panel discussion on how we can create healthy and whole communities, protect farm animals, and preserve local ecosystems. Senator Gary Peters will give a special message by video. Panelists include Bee Friedlander, President, Attorneys for Animals, Adam Mason, Senior Manager for Farm Animal Welfare and Environmental Policy, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and Representative Emily Divendorf.
