PLANT-BASED HOLIDAY COOKING (IN-PERSON IN TRAVERSE CITY)

Organized by Oryana and in partnership with VegMichigan, you will prepare a sumptuous vegan feast for family and friends featuring easy dishes you can whip up for your holiday meal. You will make a classic Creamy Green Bean Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole with Apples & Crunchy Rosemary Walnuts, Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing, and Balsamic Mushroom & Olive Pate. We will also be sampling a few popular vegan holiday roasts.

Notes:

Classes are held in our Community Room and Kitchen at Oryana West. The Community Room is in the back of the store near the restrooms and Wellness Department.

We recommend dressing in layers and wearing clothes you’re comfortable cooking in as you may be moving around and getting your hands dirty! It also can get pretty warm in the kitchen.

Cancellation policy – Classes are refundable up to 2 business days before the class. Please email us a marketing@oryana.coop if you need to cancel.

About the instructor: Linda Szarkowski studied at Living Light Culinary Institute and teaches vegan cooking classes for VegMichigan.
