We are partnering with For Our Future Michigan and Michiganders for a Just Farming System to offer this two-part series on the Farm Bill. Part 1 is a a panel discussion focused on the lack of Black representation and farmer support for community food access. Panelists include Senator Debbie Stabenow, Dr. Jasmine Jackson Co-Executive Director of the National Black Food & Justice Alliance, Asha McElroy, Youth Representative from Detroit Food Policy Council, and Malik Yakini, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Detroit Black Community Food Security Network.
