VegMichigan is participating in Scarlett Middle School’s Climate Justice Expo. We will have a station where students will use a carbon foodprint calculator to determine which food choices contribute the least amount to climate change and which foods contribute the most. Then, they will discuss how we can support one another in making more climate-friendly food choices and how we can make climate-friendly food choices more accessible.

VegMichigan is providing an A2ZERO program at this event in collaboration with the City of Ann Arbor Office of Sustainability and Innovations. A2ZERO is the City of Ann Arbor’s plan to achieve a just and equitable transition to community-wide carbon neutrality by 2030.
