ANN ARBOR- DETROIT STREET FILLING STATION COOKING DEMO AND DINNER MEETUP

May 18 - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us for a cooking demo and dinner meetup at Detroit Street Filling Station in Ann Arbor! The cooking demo will feature a favorite from their menu, the Pad Thai. We will hear from the owner Phillis Engelbert about the history of DSFS and why it was important to her to make the restaurant vegan.

VegMichigan will give brief remarks about our collaboration on the city’s A2ZERO plan for a just transition to carbon neutrality, and everyone is invited to stay after to purchase food and/or drinks. Space is limited so RSVP early to save your spot!

Program:
Doors open: 5:40 – 6:00
VegMichigan introduction: 6:05 – 6:15
Mini pad thai cooking demo: 6:15 – 6:25
Distribute samples & Phillis (DSFS owner) talk w/Q&A: 6:25 – 6:45

Attendees are encouraged to stay and have a drink/meal for purchase: 6:45 – 7:45pm
