Citizen's Climate Lobby U-M chapter is hosting New Roots Institute who will be presenting "How We Can Fight Climate Change and Environmental Injustice With Every Bite." VegMichigan is providing plant-based pizza and individuals who are new to plant-based eating can participate in our 30 day plant-based pledge.

The Sierra Club Chapter at U-M is hosting a climate and sustainability educational event with informational tables, games, and giveaways. They will inform attendees about current events related to climate change and sustainable innovations and actions people can take to support a healthy environment. We will have a table at the event to promote the benefits of plant-based living, sign people up to our 30 day plant-based pledge, and provide plant-based recipes. 

Come to the Ann Arbor free and family-friendly Earth Day Festival at Leslie Science & Nature Center and stop by the VegMichigan table.

VegMichigan will be dropping off plant-based items to Meals on Wheels clients in Ann Arbor who are interested in trying plant-based items. 

The Freeman Environmental Youth Council is hosting an event for high school students to learn about local organizations and actions they can take to help the environment. As part of the event, there will be speakers giving "Tedx" style presentations. We will be discussing how eating more plant-based is beneficial to the planet.
