Come join us at the Ann Arbor YMCA Block Party. We will have a table at this family-friendly event and attendees will have an opportunity to participate in our 30-Day Plant-Based Pledge. We will also be giving away delicious plant-based samples. 

VegMichigan will be at A2SF with A2ZERO, for the culminating event of A2ZERO week. We will have a table and give people an opportunity to sign-up for the 30-Day Plant-Based pledge. There will be a lot of other activities happening at this event so be sure to come to the party. We will be in the Kids Zone area, at the Annex, where Top of the Rock is held. 

VegMichigan will provide a talk about the environmental benefits of eating plant-based, a plant-based tasting, and people who are new to plant-based eating will be able to sign-up for our 30-day plant-based pledge. 

VegMichigan will be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market sharing information on the connection between diet and climate, handing out plant-based food samples, and offering a special opportunity to sign up for the 30-Day Plant-Based pledge, with all items locally sourced!

We will be distributing free bags of plant-based food at the University Commons Condominiums to residents who signed up to participate in our 30-Day Plant-Based Pledge. 

In August we are mixing things up with a different kind of Meetup! We will meet at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market (at the picnic tables near Detroit St & N Fifth Ave) for lunch. Then we're going to swap recipes and shop for ingredients at the market. Please join us to enjoy a delicious, plant-based lunch, discover new plant-based recipes, and support local farmers all at once. Fun!!

We will be speaking on a Food and Climate Panel, along with New Roots Institute and Global Seaweed Institute hosted by Sierra Club U-M and Plant Futures Initiative. We will also sponsor plant-based appetizers to be served at the event.
