VegMichigan will be connecting with student groups to see who is interested in partnering with us on organizing a plant-based pledge program and other initiatives we are doing to increase awareness about plant-based eating in Ann Arbor.

TABLING AT THE ANN ARBOR LOCAL FOOD FESTIVAL

VegMichigan will be informing attendees about our resources that promote the benefits of plant-based eating. We will also have a fruit and veggie game for kiddos and an activity to demonstrate to people how plant-based foods can lower their carbon footprint. 

U OF M PLANT-BASED TAILGATE

VegMichigan will be serving free plant-based food samples to UM football fans from local restaurants so that people can see how delicious plant-based food is and become more aware of the plant-based options in the area.  

ANN ARBOR YMCA INTRO TO THE 30-DAY PLEDGE PROGRAM

We are introducing the Ann Arbor YMCA staff who are new to plant-based eating to participate in the 30-Day Plant-Based Pledge Program. We will give a talk about the benefits of plant-based eating and then provide staff an opportunity to sign up for the pledge and select the three free plant-based items they would like to try to support them in eating more plant-based.

TABLING AT THE A2ZERO GREEN FAIR

VegMichigan will be tabling to promote the benefits of plant-based eating and giving out plant-based pledge bags to those who are new to plant-based eating.

VegMichigan will be spreading awareness to attendees about the benefits of plant-based eating and ways that they can get involved with VegMichigan.
